River Bug

This jig is designed for fishing the ultra-stingy Ohio River but works everywhere I’ve fished it. The compact size, sparse skirt (~ 30 strand), and simple colors seem to render more bites for me so that’s what I offer here for sale to you. A hidden-eye makes for an excellent jig around wood and other heavy cover while the stout Mustad Ultrapoint hook can hold up to “crossing their eyes” and getting those fish out of the wood. The flattened bottom allows a stand-up presentation when working the jig slowly. I make these for my personal tackle box and only in a few colors sizes.
